My Father’s Farm is managed by My Father’s House International Foundation (also known as Fundación Internacional La Casa de mi Padre) a nonprofit organization legally registered as 501 (C) (3), focused on building orphanages equipped with schools and organic self-sufficient farms in Latin America, where education, food and care are provided in order to meet children’s basic needs. In Colombia, My Father’s House is registered as a legal institution under de name La Casa de mi Padre (My Father’s House International Foundation) and it meets the requirements of Bienestar Familiar (Colombia’s welfare system) to operate as a nonprofit orphanage foundation. All financial statements will be available upon request.
My Father’s Farm owns 22.7 acres in Seguin, TX, over which we have total control and are committed to the organic farming on a long-term basis. All of our products will be delivered to homes and restaurants within a 40-mile radius of the farm. We also sell our products sold at our very own farmers’ market.
We are committed to provide our customers with excellent quality organic products through a responsible agriculture business, while recognizing our obligations to the orphans we serve in third world countries. We believe we can achieve this by building strong and durable relationships with customers, employees and friends.
As long as God continues to give us the opportunity to serve with the work and profit of our very own hands, we will continue to feed and educate orphans around the world.
- Our most important value comes from the Word of God, being “good steward” of God’s resources made available to us on earth. We are concerned with the fact that we are approaching two generations where people have lost their connection with the land and where children hardly know where their meals truly come from.
- Building strong family relationships and inspiring others to build strong families is an important matter for us at My Father’s Farm. We believe that strong families make strong communities, which will in turn make a stronger nation.
- We also believe we are contributing to a healthier environment and a healthier nation by producing healthy products free of chemical use.
- We believe that the implementation of the “pick your own vegetables”, and our own farmers’ market, we promote a social aspect hidden in the land itself, where families who have lost connection with the land, become conscious of the value of our natural resources.
